Exactly the same as x brand filters but twice the price

I had an unused generic. Bought from Revain and compared to this filter. There was no difference in the size or appearance of the frame or the filter material. I have a Kenmore bagless canister and bought this filter hoping it would fit better than the regular version. It's not like this. Conclusion: If this filter fits in your vacuum cleaner, why pay twice as much for the same filter? If I find a suitable filter, I stock it up.
