This is a nice little item that is quite unique. You can place it anywhere you want to purify the air, even in places without a power outlet, as it has an internal battery. Inside the box you'll find the main unit with integrated leather strap, filter, USB-A to USB-C power cable for charging, and instructions. Setup is easy, just remove the back of the unit and install the included filter. Then just use the included cable to plug it into any standard USB charger and it will charge. The LED indicates when the device is charging and when it is fully charged. The device itself is very compact and easily fits on your desk or even in a cup holder in your car. It has two fans that push air through the filter and a built-in air quality sensor. The air quality sensor displays the air quality via a light bar on the top of the device, which changes color from green to yellow to orange to red depending on the level of pollutants in the air. To use the device, simply press the power button on the top to turn it on. The fans immediately start cleaning the air. There is a fan speed button that allows you to adjust the speed of the fans and therefore the air cleaning performance. By default, the speed is set to Auto, which adjusts the fan speed based on the detected air quality. You can also manually set it to low, high, or "Turbo" mode, which will run the fans at maximum speed for 30 minutes to quickly clean the air. The charging LED also serves as a battery indicator when the device is not charging and changes color between flashing green, orange and red depending on the battery level. The device is also equipped with Bluetooth, which allows you to connect to the LG Puricare app on your phone. This allows you to control the device from your phone, view air quality readings and be reminded when it's time to change the filter. The app is optional, but it's a nice addition if you want to keep the filter out of reach but still be able to control it while you're at your desk etc. The device is best suited for smaller spaces like a small room or your car. In these rooms it works quite well and you definitely notice that the air is cleaner. This is a great item if you suffer from allergies or just want to keep the air as clean as possible during cold and flu season. The device is small enough to fit on your desk without taking up much space and is fairly quiet even in lower speed modes.
