Review on 🔌 Superior Quality A-Premium Power Window Regulator with Motor - Front Passenger Side for Ford Ranger 1993-2011 by Todd Raynie

I've read reviews of similar parts and watched YouTube videos on installation. My truck originally came with a manual up/down window and I installed an aftermarket universal adapter paired with a power window and lockable door panel (black part only) from a junkyard donor. The aftermarket adapter burned out after a year because the governor wheels were sticking, presumably because it was never meant to work that way. I received it and replaced the regulator assembly hoping I could figure out which mounting holes were for the OEM regulator. It took me a while to locate it (the photos on the driver's side parts overview helped a lot) as the hand attachment points are very different and the assembly rotates 90 degrees. I just went and used the wiring I added for the secondary adapter. Set the window to its fully raised position and cover it with tape so you don't have to scrape the glue off later. Drill out the four rivets (using a 1/4" hole bit) holding the broken adjuster and remove the assembly by first sliding the small white plastic piece out of the top of the track and then simply prying the rest out. Two of my rivets took some brute force with a hammer and chisel to remove even after piercing. After the new assembly is on top and back on the top rail, tighten the two screws on the left side and the bottom right side and then connect them to the power supply and lower the window all the way to make room for the fourth screw create top right. So far this is working great as it came with a factory powered window regulator. I will replace the driver's side in the same way if that aftermarket adapter inevitably fails as well.
