Review on Lexus Key Shell Case Cover: Keyless Entry Remote Fob Fix & Repair Solution by Darian Massey

This is the second replacement shell I have bought for a Lexus key. With an original Lexus key and another spare case that I bought before, you can reuse the metal key on your ignition. In this case the metal key is cast and cannot be removed or replaced. So before I could use it I had to take it to a locksmith and then shorten the key to fit my old one. Not cheap! It would be nice if the description stated that the metal part of the key should be taken to a locksmith. The key shell is designed to house the central electronic part of an old broken key.
