Excellent performance in removing years of residue. My rugs are 5 years old, they are tangled beyond recognition and now feel soft and fluffy. Not brand new but darn close to worn carpets. I used this product to rinse carpets after cleaning with prochem dry mud and then loosened the carpets with the Grandi Groom carpet rake.
