Review on 🍶 32Oz Contigo AUTOSPOUT Water Bottle - Food Service Equipment & Supplies by Dexter Rasberry

Pros: This bottle is affordable and keeps the water cooler longer than my glass or plastic bottles. It doesn't have that weird metallic taste that many metal bottles have, and the straw is long enough to almost empty the bottle. It's a good size, easy to clean, the carabiner on the handle is handy and I appreciate the locking mechanism to keep the straw closed while it's in my purse or backpack. Cons: I can't keep it in my purse. or a backpack because it is leaking. I'm packing for a move so I put it on top of the box while I worked on packing the other boxes for a while and when I double checked it had a puddle on it. It was completely closed and the straw wasn't open so it shouldn't have leaked. It also makes a noise when I drink from it, which sounds loud to me but probably isn't really all that bothersome to someone not already standing right next to me. The click to close is a little loud, which bothered me a couple of times when I might have been drinking water in the middle of a test, but if you hold the button down while squeezing the straw, it's no longer loud. Overall it's an average, which is why it gets an average star rating. I'm very disappointed with the leak and not sure how long I'll actually be using the bottle because of it. I've already used it so I don't feel comfortable returning it, but I encourage you to look for other bottles.
