Review on Stay Fashionable And Cozy With Ferrtye Women'S Turtleneck Cold Shoulder Sweaters by Kenyatae Tillo

It's PERFECT--Just Buy It!

I was on the fence--there are several sweaters in this style on Revain's site, and I wasn't sure about an acrylic option. Cotton tends to shrink and get sweaty IMO, but I like that it's a natural fabrication. Acrylic can also get a little sweaty, but it can also be a great choice if it's a good quality yarn and it's usually very soft and drapes well. I rolled the dice on this one--it's a solid winner all around! This has fabulous draping qualities. It hangs perfectly. I'm 32D/DD (natural), 120/123 pounds, 5'3", 29" waist, 37" hips. I'm average fit-wise--this has the split hem, so I can do the little front tuck and it won't bunch anywhere around the hip. The cold shoulder shows just enough arm to be cute but not enough that it's awkward and not so little that you wonder why it bothered. Neck is perfect--I wish every sweater fit this way. No gap, no strangulation, not too high, not too low. I'm often a petite but can wear regular fit, and this is just right on me length--wise. I was so excited by this sweater I immediately bought two others (gray and khaki, since I really only wear neutrals). I can't say anything else unless the two others I am waiting for aren't consistent with this black one, in which case I will update my review. So buy this baby--it's going to be my holiday uniform with my 70s flare leg jeans and block heel boots, my straight leg jeans and Doc Martens, and my wide-leg dress pants and heels for church.

Pros
  • It really is beautiful. Just received today so will update you guys after washed.
Cons
  • The fabric used in these sweaters may not withstand repeated washings, leading to early wear and tear after only a few uses
