I replaced the small rice steamer with this one because I didn't want a non-stick coating and it's stainless steel. Recommended by my daughter who carefully reviews her purchases. It works as described and does a good job. I still wish they had made a really small stainless steel steamer with an airtight lid. Some foods, like chicken breasts, aren't as tender. As with most stainless steel cookware, it still has stains. But I have stainless steel that's easily stained for 60 years. And no second thoughts about health factors.
