Good quality toaster and very toasty. I couldn't be happier with the toaster's performance. The crumb tray is spring-loaded to slide out when you want to clean it, and I feel like it has plenty of toast settings. The freeze function worked very well. I posted pictures of my box. I ordered a stainless steel color but received a black toaster in what I thought was a blue toaster box. My boxes didn't say 'stainless steel' or 'black' anywhere on my boxes, but the label said 'blue'. I'm keeping black because it looks great, just a little surprised it's not the color I ordered. Mine was new, never used. I did the first cycle as instructed in the manual and actually smelled the bite. Just to let others know it was made in China. PRC means the People's Republic of China. I don't like that many companies cleverly deceive their customers about the origin of their products, but many products now say that the country in which they were developed is different from the country in which they were manufactured. I have no problem buying expensive items from China. I have been to China many times and spent three years there. I just don't like European and American companies cheating customers. I've asked old friends and most of the people I've spoken to don't know what PRC means.
