Review on Black 6-Outlet Surge Protector with 4ft Power Cord, Flat Rotating Plug, 15A 120V - CNE75884 by Todd Look

One feature I like is that the ON/OFF button lights up when it's on.

I bought this four foot surge protector and also the six foot. I had wall-to-wall cabinets with a cage attached (bookcases) mounted on a wall in my sewing room. I placed these surge protectors on both ends of the wall. When the fitters came and installed the cupboards and bookshelves, they were able to push them up to the wall (baseboards). No ugly gaps between the cabinets and the wall and of course a broken socket. One feature I like is that the ON/OFF switch lights up when it's in the ON position. That way I can just look at the device to make sure it's powered on. I have another area that could use one of these. I will order today. UPDATE 7/15/2015: This surge protector worked fine for about a month. Every time I turn on the switch and then turn on the iron (the same iron I use) it turns off. The iron is the only item I have connected to this unit. To determine if it was the surge protector, I plugged the iron into straight outlets and other strip outlet products. No problem. Now I have a huge dilemma. I installed these units in the outlet prior to delivery of heavy wall cabinets and shelving installed by 2 people. Now I need to hire someone to come and remove these cabinets from the wall so I can turn off this C&E surge protector and another one I bought. My apologies if my original five star rating was misleading. At first it worked great for me. I don't think this product is safe to use.
