I use this to stir up acrylic paint that I use to paint miniatures like Warhammer 40k. With many paint brands, the paint is thick enough that it needs to be mixed really well or you won't get consistent results. I just could never hand shake paint well enough with brands like Scale 75. Pros: + Mixes paint very well. Not right away, and it takes a little practice to master the technique. But nothing I've used gives such a stable result.+ It's actually very heavy, even if it doesn't look like it in the pictures. He's not dancing like I feared. + I've been using it for almost 2 years without any problems. Love it.+ Saves me from having to use a jigsaw clamp to shake paint which causes paint bottles to fly around the room at times at over 100mph making me fear for my safety and valuables. Cons: + It's expensive. Don't bypass it. Not everyone can justify the price of such a hobby mixer. But do I regret it? NOT FOR A SECOND. Now that I see what it can do, I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I have a lot of paint (200+ bottles) so some of them go months between uses. This really fixes issues and helps keep the paint in good shape. Highly recommended!
