This is the best baby coat I have found for a number of reasons: VISIBILITY: I have yellow and red and both are clearly visible with yellow being the brightest. The surface of the coating has the property "flicker”, which corresponds to its name. There are also small reflectors on each wrist, which are very comfortable and difficult to reach. I wish the reflectors were bigger and there were more of them which would make this jacket perfect in terms of visibility. PACKING: The jacket is lightweight and highly compressible if you want to put it in your pocket. WARMTH: Despite its low weight, the jacket is easy to inflate and keeps you warm. I would consider this a 3 season jacket (fall, winter, spring). In moderate temperatures (50-60 degrees Fahrenheit) you can easily pull this jacket over your shirt. In very cold weather, this jacket works great as an outer shell with multiple layers underneath. As for water resistance, it offers good protection in light rain. CLEANING: Easy to wash in the washing machine. Fully synthetic materials ensure that it dries quickly and does not absorb water. ZIPPERS: Easy to use with thick prongs. HOOD: easy to put on the child's head. You need to add thick layers underneath. I have a little 3 year old who wears 2T. It also handles 3T well, so don't hesitate to buy a size up to make it last longer.
