Great value for students

Great stethoscope for the price. I bought it to use for an EMT class and I didn’t want to buy a pricier one. Though once I did finish class the upgrade was definitely worth it and necessary. Just not loud enough for ambulances or loud work environments.

Pros
  • The product comes with a five-year warranty, giving buyers peace of mind
Cons
  • No replaceable parts

Works just as well as most of the better brands the school has

Bought for nursing school. Works just as well as most of the better brands the school has. They have a different model that's a little more expensive and is made of heavier material that has less external artifact noise a class mate has. This is perfect if you are looking for quality enough to get you through school, and cheap enough that you won't have a heart attack if you lose it. Keep the extra ear pieces safe, after a year or so a few of my classmates who bought this brand needed one.

Pros
  • The stethoscope can be used for a wide range of diagnostic procedures, including cardiac and respiratory auscultation
Cons
  • The "tunable AFD technology" does not work as advertised

Great scope for the value.

Maybe my hearing isn't what it used to be, so for my ears, and my money this is just as good as the Littman Cardiology model I used to use, but is more like the Classic Littman. ADC makes good products, they've been around as long as I can remember, and their BP cuffs are usually worth their higher cost because they last longer in my experience. If you leave your scope hanging around your neck most of the day, this is a good length, and it's a better length for patient and provider comfort…

Pros
  • The stethoscope is compact and easy to carry around, making it perfect for healthcare professionals on the go
Cons
  • Poorly built diaphragm

I prefer this over a Littman, same quality at an affordable price

So I am writing this rating on November 24, 2013.I bought this stethoscope because I needed one for my EMT-Basic course. This stethoscope is amazing for the price. A couple of my classmates bought Littman's because they had the money. I was a little tight on cash. In my personal opinion, I really like more how this stethoscope sounds versus a Littman. I compared both in class by taking blood pressures, auscultating breath and heart sounds. Are they better than Littman's? I personally think so…

Pros
  • The tunable AFD technology allows for precise auscultation and accurate sound transmission
Cons
  • Heavy for an "ultra lightweight" stethoscope

Lasted through nursing school and beyond.

I originally bought this to use in clinicals in nursing school. I've been a nurse for 2 years now and I'm still using it. It works fantastically well, the sound is excellent and- bonus- it looks *so cool*. I love the all black! And for a "budget" priced stethoscope this is a total score. If I had borrowed it from someone and been asked to guess the price I would have guessed twice as much, easy.Worth every penny and probably many more. A very good investment, especially for a nursing…

Pros
  • The stethoscope is suitable for use in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices
Cons
  • The ear pieces are too large for some users’ ears

Cheap, but there's a catch

Priced right but sound quality in an ambulance or any significant background noise is terrible. Spend the extra money and get the higher quality version

Pros
  • The stethoscope is suitable for use by healthcare professionals of all levels of expertise, from medical students to seasoned physicians
Cons
  • Bulky storage case takes up too much space

Very good quality + great price!

I'm an EMT in New York and I decided to get these because the last cheap stethoscope I bought really showed - it came disassembled and I couldn't even hear my own breathing with them. These are very comparable to my Littman stethoscope and I can hear very clearly through them. At only $30, these are definitely a steal!

Pros
  • Professional Medical Supplies
Cons
  • Uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great for the price!

I'm a CMA and have used this stethoscope for almost 2 years now. Very good quality, just be sure you turn the bell the right way. Some wear in the metal part near the ears but that's just because I'm a little rough with it and I'm using it twice as often now as a Nursing Student.

Pros
  • The chestpiece is made of high-quality materials, ensuring durability and long-term use
Cons
  • Inconsistent sound quality between units

As good as their competitor

I spent maybe $150 on that expensive stethoscope they recommend you buy in the bookstore as a medical student. It was certainly a great stethoscope, did it's job, but unfortunately it was stolen during my residency training. I was miffed, so I never purchased a replacement and instead used the disposable stethoscopes. They served their function well, but the sound quality was definitely lacking. Here comes Walmart. Searched for stethoscope and found this one with great reviews. I tried to go as…

Pros
  • The stethoscope is designed to be compatible with a wide range of acoustic accessories, allowing for customization of sound transmission
Cons
  • Poor customer service for warranty claims

Depends what you want it for

The sound quality is not great, but if you are looking for cheap and not terrible this is adequate. We use it to listen to our baby's heartbeat in third trimester. Doesn't need to be perfect for us and works ok. It is not as good as the one my doctor uses (but that one is 4x as much).

Pros
  • The eartips are comfortable and can be easily replaced if necessary
Cons
  • Limited range of sounds it can detect

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap and works well

Great product, wanted an inexpensive scope for school and working ift. I can imagine the people leaving bad reviews have little medical training or weren't using the scope properly. It isn't super comfortable or crazy sensitive to sound but it works well and is cheap. Also coworkers won't make fun of you for spending half your paycheck on something you already have 2 or 3 of on the rig. I leave it in my backpack and bring it out for bp and lung sounds because it's nice to have equipment that is

Pros
  • The chestpiece can be easily maneuvered for better access during auscultation
Cons
  • Mediocre sound insulation

I love this stethoscope

I love this stethoscope. I have it as my "backup" stethoscope (main one is 3M litmas cardiology which is like 10 times the price) and i must say there is hardly any difference; in terms of sound quality/amplification/sensitivity they are probably nearly identical. In fact for many weeks i used this one as my main as it is a lot smaller and lighter so much nicer to have in my pocket. Main reason I went back to Littman as my main stetho was because even though it was uncomfortable to…

Pros
  • The AFD technology ensures accurate and consistent sound transmission, even in noisy environments
Cons
  • The ear tips are difficult to clean

Buy this stethoscope over a Littman !

I never right reviews but just had to for this stethoscope! There is no need to spend hundreds of dollars on a Littman, this stethoscope is so much better. It’s lightweight and I can hear better with it than pricey cardiology styles of other name brands. I recently had to repurchase this style stethoscope after having my original one (that was 6yrs old) stolen at work. I had only spent $18 for the original one and have turned many nurses and docs on to this brand/specific style stethoscope. I…

Pros
  • The stethoscope is easy to clean and sanitize, ensuring that it meets hygiene standards
Cons
  • The ear tips cause irritation during prolonged use

Lightweight, clear acoustics

I can't believe I spent so much more in the past for the so-called "brand name" steths. I love the stealth black color, which is professional-looking while at the same time subtle enough to be unique. It is incredibly lightweight, which is a huge plus for me because I have had neck strain from using heavier steths in the past. My older steth was also very short, which meant it would fall off my neck often.not a problem with this one! Acoustics are great if you're not going into…

Pros
  • The stethoscope is easy to clean and maintain, ensuring proper hygiene
Cons
  • Not suitable for all medical specialties

The best scope you can get for less than 70 bucks.

This is the third time I've bought this scope, not because it stops working, but because I always lose them. I'm an FNP in the inpatient setting, and it's perfect for what I do. I used to have a basic Littman (which I lost), and this scope is way better. I'm hard of hearing and have no problems with this scope. I can pick up grade 2 murmurs on it.

Pros
  • ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: 1 additional pair of Adsoft Plus eartips and a complimentary scope ID tag.
Cons
  • Incompatible with some medical devices

Great fit - good sounds

I have actually purchased these twice. One for myself and one for my brother-in-law. They are lightweight. You can hear the sounds well, both hear and lungs, as well as quadrant sounds without sacrificing your ears.

Pros
  • An amazing stethoscope. Also comes with extra ear pieces in case you need them and a name tag:)
Cons
  • Non-adjustable ear pieces

Gets the job done for my opinion

I have used this stethoscope for the past couple of months in nursing school and it works fine. I feel that I can hear the same sounds as others. I probably will upgrade when I finish school but this is a great product for anyone still in school or someone that doesn't completely rely on a stethoscope for their work.

Pros
  • The AFD technology reduces distortion and amplifies sounds, ensuring that healthcare professionals can hear critical medical sounds
Cons
  • Ear pieces are too soft to stay in place

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sound on my review.

I owned a littman and literally felt like I was inadequate to use a stethoscope cause it was so hard to hear…. But this one is clear as day!

Pros
  • The product is shipped with a user manual, making it easy for healthcare professionals to use
Cons
  • Susceptible to rusting

Revainrating 4 out of 5

One of the Best Stethoscopes for the Price.

You can't do much better for the price. It's super light weight with excellent sound quality and great fitting soft ear tips. Both the bell and the diaphragm have been comparable to most Littmann's I have tried. I also recommend the Omron Sprague which is an even better deal.Frankly, a stethoscope is a very simple tool, there is no reason why it should have to cost $100+. There are cheap scopes out there that have pitiful sound quality though the effort and materials required to make decent to…

Pros
  • The product is affordable, making it accessible to a wide range of healthcare professionals
Cons
  • Attracts dust and debris easily

It ain't a Littmann

Well I finally lost my Littmann after 1 year. I second guess my Blood pressure readings because it's not quiet as clear. I don't hear the Korotkoff sounds clear like a Littman but I hear something at the right Mark when I double check with my parnters littmann. This would be good to toss in 1st aid bags cuz it works and it is very light weight. But for daily use I stand by LITTMANN.

Pros
  • The ADC 619BK Adscope Lite Stethoscope is an affordable option for healthcare professionals who do not want to compromise on quality and performance
Cons
  • Unable to adjust the angle of the ear pieces
