It's very small (for adult hands but suitable for toddlers) but my 18 month old grandson likes to play with it (from a year old)! I was concerned because most kids like to put things in their mouths, but he didn't do that with these cars. Cars and pretty much everything to do with wheels have always fascinated him. I didn't turn off all the cars, only half. Sometimes he lines up the cars, sometimes he collects all the cars and then starts throwing them one by one so that only two or three are left to play with. The cars are still holding up - the paint is still bright and the wheels are intact. If you have toddlers who constantly put things in their mouths, this toy is not for them. However, you can still buy them and give them later when they outgrow this stage.
