I do a LOT of grilling. I regularly use three heavy-duty, cast-iron presses made by Lodge. I wanted another, wider, heavy-duty press for my grilling needs. I wasn't looking for a melting dome, since I already own and use several small domes that work perfectly for melting cheese on burgers. So, for me, the stainless steel dome in the Hulisen set was an extra. Once I received the set, I could imagine many ways of using the large dome on our grill. I'm pleased to have it in my arsenal of tools.Presses are so versatile. This one is larger (8.5 inches) and heavier (2 pounds and 8 ounces) than I expected, which is a plus. I'll probably use it largely for flattening various types of peppers on our grill. For me, peppers tend to cook faster and more evenly with a press. It's the same for some other vegetables.I'm thinking of buying another set as a holiday gift.If anything changes as I use these tools more regularly, I'll update my review.
