Review on πŸ”₯ High-quality Carbon Fiber 1.75mm Filament by Stronghero3D Printer by Centerfold Montague

Short Fiber Reinforced

This is carbon fiber filament with carbon fiber "dust". In fact, it was weaker and more flexible than first-choice PETG filament without carbon fiber. It's like adding glass beads to standard thermoplastics like Delrin in injection molded parts. Delrin (acetal or polyoxymethylene) is the material that some bearings and living joints are made of. Add 20% glass beads and it doesn't bend, it just breaks and in thin cross sections it breaks if you drop it. I have since purchased a higher quality German made carbon fiber PETG filament and it is really great. If you try to snap that thread it just twists, the German thread snaps and is held together by longer carbon fibers. Parts printed from it look good but are mechanically weak. The German thread for bending is almost synonymous with aluminum. I can try their unfilled thread and see how it is. It's very cheap.
