It's plastic and the pieces don't always fit together

The bottom shelf of the shopping cart doesn't stay in place. This is a plastic item and there is not enough rack space to hold it in place. When you insert the front of the rack into the holes, the back pops out and vice versa. I'm not happy I spent what I put into it. This is a Christmas present for my granddaughter. After assembly, returning would be very difficult.
