I liked the price and that there were all the levels of tackiness in one pack, plus color coded for the different levels. The grid lines are very clear and accurate on the 12"x12" mat. The size is identical to the silhouette Cameo mat that I have been using for years, but the flexibility is not the same. The new mats are made of a more rigid plastic, but still quite flexible. My biggest issue is that the LightGrip is VERY sticky, and ruins my cardstock when I try to remove it. I can't remember the Silhouette mat being that sticky, but it's been used so many times that the stickiness is barely there, so I'll just have to adjust to the difference.
