The latch has a silly design or doesn't fit. Returning

I don't know I can't install it on my 5lb fire extinguisher. I've tried different ways. I guess if I'm too stupid to operate the mount I won't be able to pull it out in an emergency. The box says it's for the fire extinguisher I have. It's disappointing that the instructions say "Snap the Band". Good good thank you! I didn't think of that 🤣🤷‍♀️
