The barn light sold by Serwing was installed on a post in our yard yesterday. At night, the 70-watt LED light with a color temperature of 5000 Kelvin was quite bright and significantly brighter than the previous LED. First impressions are good, let's see how long it lasts. Experience shows that an LED life expectancy of 50,000 hours is less important than a guarantee period of 5 years. This light does not include a bracket. I reused the bracket from a previous LED lamp that died with the bracket and screws that came with the new lamp. Without a hand you need surface mount. I was expecting a larger lamp and was surprised by the small size; only 5 inch lens compared to 10 inch lens with old. It replaces the 56-watt LightPro Barn Light sold by Brightech and available from Revain. The previous LED lasted about 7 months, was replaced and then the replacement lasted another 7 months. Both were under warranty and the purchase was returned when the second died.
