Especially suitable for children with special needs!
I work with students with major and severe disabilities. I bought this to dress up some kids who are a little tactile defensive. I had great answers. Some children, especially those with vision problems or visual impairments, are drawn to backlighting while others enjoy music. Almost everyone likes the tactile friction component of the gel, including my kids. My only criticism is that the gel is difficult to smooth; it gets stuck in the corners and it takes some effort to level it out. Maybe I'm just neurotic. Definitely justified for such a price!
