As with any dietary supplement, this should only be taken if you are actively involved in sport. If you have many days off during the week because you don't have time to exercise or for other reasons, don't take creatine. It won't do you much good. You have to be committed to see results. Remember that your heart is a muscle that works all of your life. This means it affects the size of your heart along with strength. If you experience pressure on the left side of your chest after taking creatine for a few weeks or so, stop taking the recommended dose, exercise more often so it's more evenly distributed to other muscles, or just quit altogether up to take it. You may not have room for the heart to grow and the pain, well you get it.
