I searched for a long time before I found a table big enough to fit the small spaces on either side of my sofa. Very strong and strong after assembly. As other reviewers have recommended, I didn't tighten things until I had the bottom shelf in place and added the final leg. Other reviewers noted peeling paint. I also had some very small chips but they were nowhere to be seen. I paid great attention to the details so as not to chip the paint when assembling the tables. One reviewer thought the countertop looked like plastic. I don't see it at all. It seems to me that this is an expensive glossy color, but it's in the eye of the beholder. Anyway, I just LOVE the turquoise color I have. It adds a nice color scheme to my living room.
