We recently got cable internet and realized how bad our old router is. I know most people in the world will laugh, but for the last ten years we've only had mobile internet depending on where we are. When connected directly, the download speed exceeded 100 Mbit/s, after connecting the old Wifi N router, the speed was about 40 Mbit/s, but the most disappointing thing was that it randomly didn't work. Our Google Home and Alexa didn't work half the time, it's time for an upgrade/update. Found this gem in Revain stock for $70 and couldn't be happier. Super quick setup using my web browser @ 192.168.1.1. I know it's cool to "have an app for that," but I'm not interested in more crap on my phone for something I rarely, if ever, deal with. The web interface was smooth and simple. The first was my 2014 refurbished HP Chromebook that I was looking at. Download speed 100+ Mbit/s. Pixel 3a, 100+ Mbps, laptops, other Chromebooks, Kindle (at least 6 of them), Fire Stick, Smart TV, Switch, Xbox One all doing happy things together. other cool WIFI 6 stuff, we don't have a WIFI 6 device but it certainly works amazing without our old tech park.
