When you peel off the large wax film and apply to the surface everything looks normal and normal. However, if you try to peel off the brown film (which has the 3M logo on it), the adhesive will peel off the surface it's currently attached to, destroying the adhesive layer with holes that have no adhesive on them. And if you try to remove the brown foil first, the glue will peel off the wax foil. This product requires two sheets of wax, which dispenses the adhesive evenly and easily. In this respect, this product is a waste of money. You need to pull very, very, very slowly in small increments - not up, but horizontally, and then back in the same increments to press the loose glue into place. Try not to break the adhesive as holes will curl up and enlarge the holes (leading to gummy snot, as another reviewer put it). Prepare to spend 30 minutes or more just sticking down one sticky sheet after messing up one and two.
