I had a common problem on my 2017 Ranger Crew 1000XP where the gas piston broke on the bed and also messed up the speed sensor on my gearbox. This caused my Ranger to lose power steering, lost the speed reading on the speedometer and odometer. This is the cheapest speed sensor option on the web and I tried it and it fixed all my problems. would recommend. (It's worth noting that if you install the sensor and start the car and your problem persists, drive the car for a while and as soon as the sensor starts giving feedback, the check engine light, power steering light and speedometer will start working ).
