SOVA initially interested me because of the price, size and apparent comfort I read about in reviews. However, after using this product for about 7 months (I think) I realized that going professional with my dentist is a much better option. I know the professional option isn't for everyone, but I would urge potential SOVA buyers to reconsider. a lot for the time a professional security guard endures (about 10 YEARS). And 3 months is a lot more realistic than 6 with SOVA as it will wear out/start to discolor even if you clean it thoroughly every morning (this is not a single product defect, this has been the case with my other SOVAs too). Let them fool you with stories about how convenient/easy it is to mold SOVA. It took me over 10 tries for my first try and for weeks I felt uncomfortable even after trying to reshape (I think being able to reshape is one of the positives). And after using SOVA, both my bite and the position of a pair of teeth changed. NOT in a good way. The only thing that made me happy was that SOVA is thin and I don't feel like I'm going to sleep with a brick in my mouth. TLDR; Don't waste your time/money. run, you will spoil your teeth/bite. Talk to your dentist and insurance company about a professional night watchman. It's worth it.
