very bright even on low setting but works well
is brighter than I would like for a bedside clock. I had to put on a sock to keep it from glowing at night. I can still see numbers through the sock at the lowest level. But if you don't mind, this is a good watch. Not the easiest of instructions - there aren't many words, so it was mostly trial and error with the buttons until I got them set up.
