It's literally over twice the height of my old cool stool, yet is lightweight and portable. It also folds down to almost the same area. It has a narrower top/platform but is still tall enough to stand on with both feet. It holds my weight securely and feels sturdy, but flexes slightly on the sides when I hop/move, but overall still feels secure. It also doubles as extra seating for guests or when jogging as it takes up much less floor space than most folding chairs and is far easier to manipulate and carry with the added benefit of being a step stool as well. Now I rarely have to pull out my little ladder as it's almost the same height but much easier and more convenient to use.
