I haven't had any problems with this card reader. Maybe they're not designed to stay connected all the time? I plug it into the USB port on the front of my computer, upload photos and delete it. The reader even has little pictures showing you how to insert the card and which card goes in which slot. It's very fast and allows me to choose where to send my photos. Unlike some other programs I have, it takes forever to load. It's quick and easy. I will buy another one maybe two as I have 3 computers. Very good price.
