Much of what I write here could be said of any of the battery operated units of similar size. Don't expect to move even moderate sized piles of leaves across a yard with the Kimo cordless blower. It just doesn't have the power. It's a little better on a smoother surfaces, but even then, you might be better off with a rake or broom.The Kimo is best suited to blow light weight dirt and dust in shops or on patios and porches. Some claim it's good for drying a car, but it will take a while and probably another battery or two for a larger vehicle. I tried so this is not a guess.blowing leaves from a gutter was met with only moderate success. If the leaves are wet or packed down, you're probably better off using a stronger blower or your hands, if possible. The battery was exhausted before I finished the gutters on the back of my house. About 50 feet.As stated above, battery life is not very good and having a second battery is highly recommended. I did note that the battery level indicator was not particularly accurate. The charge remaining lights drop quickly, but the blower ran for at least another 5 minutes once it was in the red zone.I'm keeping the blower because I wanted something light weight and easier to use than my more powerful electric plug in model. As long as you know the blower's limitations and have a second battery, you a set for light duty work.Edit: I've increased the rating because, well it's so damn handy. The only problem I've really had is that early on the tab on the body shell that holds the nozzle cracked off. How? I don't know. Bit annoying that the nozzle don't sit straight, but I am still satisfied. Wouldn't be the same, if it didn't come with a second battery, though.
