I bought these for the wooden stairs leading from the patio to the courtyard as they were slippery at times when wet. I liked them because of their pattern which I find a bit modern. Heavyweight and durable, these rugs have stayed in place ever since I put them on our outdoor step. They're not as thick as a rug, but they're good for stairs so you don't trip over them when climbing stairs. The design is flat so you have a stable stride every time. You are just perfect. There was a strong smell of rubber when the boxes were opened, but that wasn't a problem as I put them outside. These rugs look great and fit my dog, husband and I very well. I highly recommend these steps.
