A miracle of nature saved us from a very expensive carpet replacement. The carpet restoration company told me to buy this and inject it under our lining with a meat flavor hypodermic needle. It worked! The smell we got rid of was a horrible rotting animal/fish smell. We think that's where the dog vomited but we'll never know, I also have a 2 year old so mysteries happen here. It took nature's wonder a couple of weeks to corrode anything that got under the carpet pad and absorbed into it. So try and don't give up on day one. Oh, we also tried Kid and Pets (didn't work) and Chlorox Pet Odor (didn't work).
