I went to the dealer they said both my small battery and the main battery had failed. I decided to replace the battery myself. I bought a code reader to erase the codes. I've heard that when the codes "overlap", they tend to slow the car down so it either doesn't work properly or not at all. after a few days it started working sporadically again. First I bought a code reader, erased the codes that kept accumulating. I flipped the battery. works well. the car is working perfectly so far. So far there have been no problems with a large battery. If I receive more codes in the future, I can now check them with my code reader. A: I'm thinking about buying a used pickup truck soon. I think I will use this code reader on a new car to see if there are any codes someone has e turned off. yes, it can also read disabled codes. That means someone disabled the code so it doesn't appear on the dashboard. It's a nice little tool. in my discovery. and it comes in a small protective case.
