On arrival I checked for updates and they were already up to date. I tried this scanner and it provided MUCH more information than my old scanner , I was overwhelmed! Gave me info on everything down to O2 sensor voltage, real time fuel consumption, MAF info including temperature, battery charge voltage etc. And you can print the info too. I bought this product to test my 2004 Ferrari 360. In the description he showed the Ferrari logo. The plugs are ok and checked for errors. But the smog-enabled I/M didn't work and there was an error that the vehicle didn't support! I didn't send it back because it said OBD1 and 2 on the block so I left it. This is a very durable code reader. Comes with long OBD2 connector cable and USB cable. You can use the USB cable to update the device's firmware (this is easily done via the manufacturer's website). The unit displayed the exact problems that the older unit had, but this is better considering active tests, oxygen sensor, misfires, trouble codes, tests, readings, additional engine temp which doesn't appear on older or super cheap models that only cause error codes .
