I added it to my collection of DSLR cameras so that I could record video and also buy one for my wife. It's a compact camera that makes it simple to take pictures while walking and uses auto mode. Cons: The sound of zooming can be heard rather clearly throughout the footage. If you then put the music, it's not a big deal. If listening to your child's babbling is something that interests you, you shouldn't utilize zoom.
