Review on PUR PFM800HX: Cutting-Edge Horizontal Bluetooth MineralClear for Effective Filtering by Carl Mayes

I've been using polyurethane faucet filters for years and love them so I decided to upgrade and get the latest bluetooth filter feature and I can say it's just awful. To connect your mobile device to the filter, you must first run water through the filter so you blow your precious filter while you wait for it to connect! It works when you plug it in for the first time, but as soon as you try to update the firmware via your mobile device, the filter indicator stops working and the bluetooth function fails. I tried to send it back but Revane sent me two PUR customer service depts as it was a defect. So PUR sent me a brand new filter and guess what, the same thing happened! Revain will not refund me and PUR will not refund me because I purchased through Revain. So I made an arrangement with PUR customer service to send me a downgraded model to avoid this problem. It's not what I paid for, but I think it's the best situation I could get. PUR's customer service is very good, although they were very friendly and I appreciate their openness.
