This is a very thin case but the protection must be impressive. Haven't dropped the phone yet, but I expect the aramid fiber will withstand any impact. Aramid fiber (Kevlar, Nomex) is an amazing material. It is used in bulletproof vests and racing suits. Compared to carbon fiber, aramid does not interfere with radio waves or wireless charging. That's why you won't find many carbon fiber phone cases! This case is made of real aramid and has a matte finish that leaves no fingerprints. It has a rich feel. The woven fibers of the body are barely perceptible. The downside is that tape (included) is required to securely attach the case to the phone as it is very thin around the edges. This subtlety really helps because you can easily use the side fingerprint scanner on the Flip 3. I recommend this case if buyers understand that it's not an Otterbox or anything like that in terms of weight and protection.
