What I like: large surface for depositing potatoes, no need to keep refilling. When squeezing, there is very little potato left that does not break through = efficient and fast. Real rice potatoes are fried to perfection. As pictured so easy to clean and store. What to expect: a plain brown box, no labeling on the box or instructions (not really necessary if you've "painted" before or can look up how to do it online. My only concern is the metal rod, holding the two pieces together, held by what I see as the "weak link" in the product. It's a thin piece of less than 1/2" flexible clear plastic tubing. You have to be very careful not to losing it during cleaning and it can stretch so the rod won't stay in place after using the board.Also the rice cooker is very heavy which means it's very durable.Also it sits well in the pan so you can reuse it in the crock pot or most bowls with thinner rims I've only used this once so I have high hopes I use rice potatoes for gnocchi and I'm a bit special other
