Works right out of the box. Work in 45 minutes!

As well as some others mentioned: Unbolt the old carburetor. Remove the cable and needle guide from the old carburetor. Clean the needle and set it aside. Refitting to a 2003 Honda xr100r.turn on the gas again. Launched on second hit. Lower the idle a little. Like Jason said. Since 2018. The only hiccup was when my fat fingers dropped the carburetor nut into the engine. Lay down a rag and prepare a magnet to remove the fallen nut.
