This brace was exactly what my daughter's doctor gave her 2 years ago for her broken right hand Has. She was mature enough not to take it off except for a quick wash if allowed, which was a great blessing compared to a hard cast. Two years ago, a medical device company tried to charge us $70 for these braces. I declined and in the end they agreed on a much cheaper price. Well we just had a second broken arm at the house, left side and stuff like that so after the X-ray we went home with us instead of going through the hassle of the hospital/doctor to "give us one" and the Price raise a makeshift splint and bought again for my left hand. He did his job well. We now have one for each side in case there is a problem in our house or with friends/neighbors. Yes, and it saved us about $500 compared to applying a tough bandage and then removing it. This is a quality product that a VERY active 8 year old used 24/7 for 6 weeks. I highly recommend it!
