I ordered this hair dryer over the more expensive hard shell hair dryer for a number of reasons. I liked that it was cordless and electric during use so I could use it in the bath too. It's also much more comfortable than sitting still under a noisy hair dryer for over 20 minutes. This worked great for my Olaplex Bond home treatment and made a huge difference in the time I tried the treatment without constant heat. Includes several disposable plastic hair caps to keep the heating pad clean. I have very long hair and there was a lot of room in the hat and I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, just heavy and very warm.
