This cheap little headset has used me almost continuously for 2.5 years and dragged me across the country until today when the sound in one ear disappeared. Most likely wire related. I bought these things thinking they wouldn't last long until I bought a more expensive gaming headset, but this workhorse was all I needed. I'm not a music lover but the sound quality was good and matched the games. . I heard the directional sound well and got good bass from them. The microphone worked perfectly and my friends could always hear me clearly. Mute switch and volume control on the cable were always close at hand. The only downside was that the fabric on the ears wore outwards fairly quickly (although nothing hit the ears) and the noise-cancellation was generally pretty good. but I could still hear the conversation next to me. But overall they can't get any better for less than $20.
