Great product! The order came earlier than expected. It's been 8-10 weeks since I last had my hair highlighted and with Covid-19 it's still not possible to come to the salon so I'm glad I was able to get this online. . I'm not a pro, I just got a degree from YouTube University on how to color my hair like an amateur. ;-p My natural color is about level 6 or 7 ash blonde with some grey. I used Schwarzkopf Igora Royal Creme Coloration in the nuance 12-1, Cendre Special Blonde, which is supposed to have blue-grey tones. As this is a high lift color and I only needed 3-4 lift levels I used a 1:1:1 mix of Color Cream and Vol 40 Developer and Vol 20 Developer (because I didn't have Vol 30 Developer). ). I used this mixture in the regrowth zone. The back of my head and the back of my head are darker, so I used a 1:2 color ratio and a 40 developer for this area. In the middle of the stick and at the ends where I was already quite light I used a 1:2 color and a volume of 20. One tube of color was just enough for all my hair, so if your hair is longer or thicker, use 2 tubes. I worked about 30-45 minutes but to be honest since it took me a while to do this on myself it took me about 55 minutes total to apply everything before washing it off. I'm mostly happy with how it turned out. I was hoping for a slightly more ashy tone, it's turned more golden, but it looks good and I like how everything is nicely shaded. I can leave it like that for a few weeks before toning it up with purple shampoo or Wella T-18. Right after washing I apply Revlon deep conditioner left over from the previous color of the box. My hair feels very soft, not dry or damaged like it usually happens when I use a bleach and not a bleach effect color. Next time I might try the shade 10-1 or 12-19.
