media could not be loaded. I have tried a different brand battery charger before and have never been able to get a good charging connection or show it even going into a charge cycle. I thought this charger would save my dying car battery but unfortunately it doesn't. Maybe it was nearing the end of its life or was being discharged from a weak starter, but I've used this charger on my battery several times, both in normal charge mode and in 12V repair mode. Ultimately, it didn't restore the battery, but I couldn't tell if it was fixed because I only checked my battery after it was completely dead. switched on, the blue operating indicator lights up. The bottom row of LEDs will then show which mode you have selected. 12 to the normal default and you double press the mode to advance and long press to select the highlighted mode. The top line shows the start of the loading process as a percentage. When I first used this, it accelerated to 100% fairly quickly, which seemed a bit unusual given the weak battery. Then when I started it in recovery mode it stayed at 25% for a long time and then quickly went up to 100%. Again, this anecdotal evidence is based on a battery that I now know is not repairable. I would like the repair mode to work, but maybe it would work on a less damaged battery. It's easy to use, the instruction manual is clear and well written, the connections, terminals and everything else seems well thought out. Hope this helps next time my battery dies or dies. All I can say is that it works flawlessly and is easy to use.
