These Rubbermaid Divided Storage Bins are perfect for our home environment. I have to prepare food for the caregivers to warm up for my mother. I have tried other similar products but they have not been reliable. We use a lot of split glass containers, but they don't freeze well. Rubbermaid's containers are much thicker and the lids are very secure. They freeze well and reheat very well. Additionally, I should mention that these containers smell really bad due to the plastic used. I washed them twice and let them air out for two weeks before use. This is not a unique experience with food storage containers. It's just the type of plastic that's used and I see it in a lot of food storage containers. This may or may not bother you.
