These are really comfortable socks. They're soft, and are form-fitting to the foot, ankle and calf. I wear a 8 1/2-9, depending on brand of shoe, and the medium size fits me perfectly. They seem pretty warm, although I haven't worn them out in the winter yet. The fact that they are about a third wool would lead me to believe that they are going to be nice and toasty. I like the length, which goes up to nearly the top of my calf. This is great to help cover it to keep it warm, and to keep tall boots from rubbing. The price is pretty good at roughly $7 per pair. That's not a bad price for wool socks. I can't wait for winter to give these a go when hiking and camping.
