This is a good idea and most of the time well executed. You may have to fiddle with the pins to get it connected properly, but it's not difficult at all. I like the extra light in my dark hallways and the energy efficiency. My only complaint is that they don't tell you upfront that this ONLY WORKS IF THE SWITCH IS PUSHED. It doesn't work with 3-position switches (possibly Down-On-Up-Off) for this reason, but it also doesn't work with porch lights for the same reason. Every time your porch light is on (turn it on), this item will not work. So your disclaimer should go further and explain that it won't work with more than just 3-position switches - a porch light, a switch controlling outlets or bathroom lights from a hallway, or any other installation where a switch leaves it on can without turning on the overhead light.
