There are things that are needed and there are things that are simply needed. From time to time these two cross paths. For me, the new leather table protector from Polare is a combination of both. I have always loved fine leather goods and have purchased several from Polare in the past. However, this item fills the need for me. I have been working from home since the beginning of COVID-19 and have not been in the building for over a year. I have a small house and no separate home office or office. My workspace is any surface I place my laptop on. Most of the time this was my dining table. However, the table has a painted surface, which makes using an optical mouse more difficult, as the LED will reflect off the table surface and the mouse will become unresponsive. I used a piece of cardboard as a mouse pad. But the Polar Leather Mat is perfect. Now the mouse and cursor move smoothly and accurately, and the pad is large enough to provide adequate table coverage. And it has a great look, feel and smell of good leather. This pillow is available in two colors; I ordered the dark brown and the lighter camel color.
