OK, most negative reviews already give you the cons. I have to say, they really are HIGH rise . I actually fold mine over because I love them that much.strangely, as they are very stretchy, they are comfortable still, even like that. I bought the XL (I am 5.4, 170lbs) and they are very lose, feels lovely. I just ordered another paid in L and they are a LOT smaller, sitting on the skin. I returned 2 pairs, because those with the fancy decals are really cheap looking. the patches are NOT glued in as one reviewer said, all mine are sewn in. These ARE over prized for the make in china pants they are, but I found no better ones in this style, even for more money. What bothers me, are the completely inaccurate pictures. You may notice EVERY style shows on the exact same pair of pants, it's just an overlay, and they couldn't use the right style basic jeans? I'd pay double the price if they were actually low rise.
